Service Description
At Equiscense, we believe starting a youngster should be calm, thoughtful, and pressure-free. Our approach combines empathy, psychology, and real-world experience to guide young horses through their first steps with confidence. Every youngster is different, so we begin with a full behavioural and temperament assessment to design a programme that fits their pace and personality. We focus on building trust through groundwork, desensitisation, and patient exposure to tack and ridden work — never rushing, never overwhelming. It’s about setting a solid foundation that will carry your horse through every stage of their life with clarity and confidence.
Cancellation Policy
Terms and Conditions: Advance Booking: All sessions must be scheduled in advance, subject to trainer availability. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Failure to do so will result in the session being counted as used. Rescheduling: Rescheduling is allowed with at least 24 hours' notice and is subject to trainer availability. Payment: Full payment for the block booking must be made in advance. Additional mileage charges will be billed separately and must be settled before the final session. Non-Transferable: Sessions are non-transferable and must be used by the same horse and client. Expiry: Sessions not used within the 12-week period will be forfeited and are non-refundable. Session Duration: Each training session lasts approximately one hour. Weather Policy: In the event of extreme weather conditions, sessions may be rescheduled at the trainer's discretion to ensure the safety of both horse and trainer. Mileage Charges: Mileage charges apply at £1 per mile outside of a 10-mile radius of DH9.
